But the question arises why will Microsoft allow Nokia to launch an android phone. Android is a direct competitor to Microsoft's windows platform. If the reports are true this phone is going to be a very low budget phone, made mainly for the lowest end of the market. Moreover this phone wont be getting direct support of Google. The apps can only be downloaded from a third party vendor.
I think Nokia is undertaking this venture to prove that Windows is a much better platform than Android, by creating a very low powered phone, whose experience wont be at all satisfying for the end user. Next Nokia may introduce another phone in the same range with Windows OS which will give a much better smartphone experience to the consumers. By this Nokia and Microsoft will prove that Windows phones are better than Android.
What do you think is the reason behind Nokia's creation of an android phone?
