How to download Torrents in iPhone and iPad without Jailbreak

Torrents have become a convenient and popular way to share large files among groups of people. All media content can be easily downloaded at a single place by using a torrent client. There are lots of websites which provides links to free torrents which can be downloaded easily using a free torrent client. These torrent clients are available for Mac, Windows and Android platforms. But sadly there are very few options available to download torrents in iPhone or iPads. Apple has a staunch policy of not allowing any torrent clients in its official App store because torrents are used mainly to illegally download copyrighted media content, which have a negative impact on Apple’s business, namely the iTunes store.

But an iOS user needs not to worry as I am going to show the easiest ways to download any torrent on an iPhone and iPad and best thing is all these tricks are absolutely free. There are two ways to download torrent in iOS devices without even jail breaking the device and I am going to share the step by step method of doing so.

Note: It is recommended that Wi-Fi only mode should be used whenever possible as it saves battery and also mobile data charges.

Method 1

This method involves downloading via an online torrent downloader. There are many online torrent downloader sites but www.zbigz.com is the best as it supports torrent downloading even without creating accounts. In this tutorial we will focus on downloading torrents using www.zbigz.com.
  • Go to any torrent search site like Piratebay or Yify-torrents and search for the required torrent.
  • Copy the Magnet Link of the torrent file.

  • Now go to zbigz.com and paste the magnet link of the torrent file and then click on GO.

  • The site will compile the torrent into a single file and then it can be downloaded as any other regular zip file.

Note: zbigz.com throttle the download speed of a  FREE user to 150 kbps and the maximum size of a file which can be downloaded is 1 Gb. This limitations are not applicable for a Premium user.

Method 2

The second method involves downloading torrents using iTransmission.

  • After the app is installed, set the device’s date back to present date ( This is IMPORTANT step, dont skip this).
  • Search the torrent you want to download from torrent search engines like piratebay and copy the magnet url.
  • Now open the iTransmission app and click the + button and then paste the url and click OK.

Note: iTransmission doesnot allow the downloaded files to be directly opened in an iOS device. It needs iFile which costs $2 in the app store to open the files. But the files can be transferred to a PC or Laptop using iTunes and then again transferred back to the iOS device using VLC or any other media player for media contents or other apps for non media contents.

How to download iWorks and iLife Apps for free in old iOS devices.

Today I am going to teach you how to get iWorks and iLife suites for free in old Apple devices. When Apple first announced that iWorks and iLife will be made free, people thought that it will be available to all iDevices which has been updated to iOS7. But after updating the old devices most Apple users realized that these premium apps are free to only new buyers of iOS devices. Many old iDevice users, including me were left disappointed due to these terms and conditions from Apple.

But I did not gave up hope of getting these apps for free. After searching through numerous blogs and forums I found a way to get theses premium app suites from Apple for free in my iPad 4. This trick does not even require the iDevices to be jail broken. In fact when I first heard of this trick I was amazed by the simplicity of the trick.

Before going into the details of the trick one needs to understand the conditions set by Apple. As per the terms, these premium Apps are free for download on any iOS device activated after 1st September. Also we have to keep in mind that if an application is purchased in 1 device then it becomes available for download to 5 other Apple devices associated with the same Apple id. This trick is a combination of both this terms.

So in order to get the iWorks and iLife App suites for free, one needs to login to the App store with his existing Apple Id from any new iOS device .After login in, all the premium suites will be shown as free and then a download needs to be initiated. That is, a full download is also not necessary, just purchasing it for free using the old Apple Id will do. As soon as the purchase is done (for free) in the new device, the apps will be shown as ‘Purchased’ in the old device and can be downloaded for free in the old device.
Now many people will ask how they will get hold of a new iOS device without purchasing them. The answer is either ask a friend to lend their new iOS device or go to a Departmental store where iOS devices are placed on a display and use them. Just make sure to log out of the App store after the initial purchase is done.

Go ahead and try out this trick. If you like the post subscribe , follow and share this blog for more posts.
Enjoy :)

"Apple iPhone 6 is to called iPhone Air, supposed to sport a 5-inch Screen, with thinner body : Latest rumour"

iPhone Air Concept

As per the latest reports coming out of the rumour mill the next iPhone is to be named iPhone Air, hinting a new thin body as the iPad Air. The next iPhone will only be 6mm thick, and the weight will be slightly more. The main appearance however will not differ from the current iPhone 5s.

The form Apple's next iPhone will take is one of the most discussed topics at present, but other than screen size and material rumours, there hasn't been much talk about the body thickness rumors. But the latest leaks, point to an ultra thin body form, around 6mm, which is much slimmer than the 7.6 mm thickness of iPhone 5s.

According to the reports coming out from the manufacturing chains, the next iPhone will have an appearance similar to iPhone 5s, with a 3-section back which is consistent with the previous reports.
There are also rumours which suggest that the body of the new iPhone will have a 172:67 ratio. Combining this fact with the report that iPhone 6 will be having a 5 inch touchscreen and given that it will retain its Home Button, and the appearance of the new iPhone will not drastically change, then having a body size that is similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is also reasonable. If this the case, then the new iPhone will add weight due to its sheer size and full metal body.

Also as per purported leaks coming from Weibo, the biggest social networking site in China, suggests two iPhones of 4.7-inch and 5-inch screens are being tested. Additionally, the upcoming iOS devices is supposed to sport biometric features that will represent huge upgrades from the TouchID fingerprint scanner of iPhone 5s.

Whether the next iPhone will be named iPhone 6 or iPhone Air is not yet confirmed. According the latest rumour on WeChat, iPhone 5s will be priced down in May to $100, if this is the case then the new iPhone could be released concurrently and would still be priced at $199 with a 2 year contract.

iPhone 5c a failure in developing markets

The topic may have been discussed widely on the internet, but the views which have been presented are mostly from the developed countries. I am from India and over here a iPhone 5c cost around $700 while Samsung's Galaxy Grand which is one of the popular phones in India costs only $400.

In a country where average income of a urban middle class person is around $500 to $600, buying a Samsung Grands makes sense than a iPhone 5c. Moreover iPhone 5c is a second class iPhone is only $200 less than 5s the flagship device of apple.

Moreover the cost factor is also the reason why iPhone 4 & iPhone 4s are selling more than iPhone 5c.

Tim Cook may feel that as iPhone 5s is selling like hot cakes Apple is making lots of profits, but what he is missing out is the whole of the developing markets. In this market Samsung by selling low priced phones is making bulk profits which in the overall picture is giving them a huge edge in market share and profitability. In the long run Apple will be pushed over by Samsung by quantity if not in quality.

In the previous years we have seen Apple was nearly doomed by using premium prices for their Macintosh product line, while Microsoft with their Windows product line gained a huge marketshare. Now in most of the developing countries many urban computer literate people who cant stop from facebooking their each and every life event have not even heard of Mac OS, on the other hand any computer literate even from far flung rural areas know what is Windows. Many even thinks that any Computer whatever it may be cant run without Windows in it.Such is the penetration of Microsoft. All corporate and government offices run on Windows system and the most common pre requisite in a job application requires a candidate to know Microsoft Office suite.

In the same way now the most fab thing is owning a touch screen phone from Samsung because it has become the symbol of coolness and usefulness, not to mention the affordable price range.

In the price conscious developing markets brands like Micromax sell much faster than a premium priced iPhone which most people dont even know of.

Dear Apple we, your customers dearly love you, please for the sake of us, please please make some products which is affordable to all and not only for the ultra rich.  And in the long run dont become a Blackberry.
